School Improvement Council (SIC)

The SIC is a broad-based, representative advisory body composed of parents, teachers, and community members working directly with administration. Unlike the PTO , which focus primarily on fundraising, the SIC focuses on policy, school improvement initiatives, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• School Improvement Plans: Collaborating on strategies to enhance student achievement.
• Advisory Role: Providing direct parent and community input to school leadership on key decisions.
• Community Bridge: Connecting families, the school, and the local community.
• Annual Reporting: Assisting in preparing the annual report on school progress and goals.
