Behavior Beliefs
Behavior Beliefs
- We believe that developing a strong sense of community and fostering positive relationships is the foundation to supporting students’ behavior across the school setting.
- We believe in establishing school-wide expectations for behavior that are consistent and developmentally appropriate.
- We believe in the collective responsibility of teaching behavioral skills to all students.
-
This includes pre-teaching behavioral expectations and corrective teaching when behavior infractions occur. We believe all actions have natural consequences, both positive and negative, and we are flexible in privately responding to students’ needs appropriately.
